The King of kings who forsook everything to be by your side, reminding you that you will never be forsaken. Be caught in the gentleness of our Lord, as HE lifts your head and swaddles you in His love.

We all find ourselves in valley moments now and again, stumbling in the dark through disappointments, pains, insecurities, where moments of deep darkness that threaten to overwhelm and pull us under.

Yet through it all, Jesus chooses to love you, over and over again. HE is closer than you think, right in the depth of the valleys, so choose to walk with Hm and HE will ascend into the light with you.

'Home in His Presence' is the second light sculpture in the Light Inhaler series; an embodiment of a lifetime of walking with the Lord, one step at a time. It is embodied by this spiral staircase - ascent or descent, HE is always holding your hand tightly, taking each step with you.

The Design

This is a space where the focus is on the walk with our Lord. Peek in, and the spiral staircase greets you – see the ascent representing the Shepherd leading His sheep up the mountain, each guiding step speaking of the healing, provision, restoration, wisdom and grace He deposits as we trek through life with Him. There is triumph in this walk.

Take a bird’s eye view, and see how the steps come together to form the petal of a flower in mid-bloom, emanating His fragrance into every inch of the space. In our Lord’s eyes, there is always beauty in us even in the transition.

The curve of the petal is also seen in the contours of the exterior, left in the white of a promising blank canvas, ready for Jesus to paint on.
